Large Schools Are More Effective Than Small Schools
Large schools are being built all over our country, but are large schools more effective than small schools? Although it has been said that small schools are better for students, the truth is that larger schools are a lot more effective because of opportunity and diversity.
Larger schools can offer a very wide range of opportunities to their students. A high school in Illinois has "an enrollment of 3,1oo students and a budget of $67 million", allowing students to explore their intrest freely (Myers 1). Smaller schools don’t have as much funding which means they can only really afford the core classes.
