The fine selections Kudler Fine Foods have for customers are bakery and pastry products, fresh produce, fresh meat, seafood, condiments, and packaged foods, cheese, and specialty dairy products. Kudler Fine Foods also provide an extensive collection of domestic and imported wines and spirits. Kudler Fine Foods mission statement is, “Our selections, coupled with our experienced, helpful and knowledgeable staff, merge to offer each customer a delightful and pleasing shopping outing.” Kudler Fine Foods needs to be continually innovating to keep the store

Internal Drivers of Innovation
Internal drivers of innovation are the things, situations, or events that occur inside Kudler Fine Foods. The advantage of internal drivers is the ease of fixing problems within the company. Innovation is uncontrollable and mysterious but this is changing (Callahan & Ishmael, 2006). Companies use the innovation of employees and management to solve problems within the company. According to Callahan and Ishmael (2006), there are questions that should be asked within the company. The questions are does innovation fit the organization, does innovation provide a strategic advantage and is there a demand for the innovation and will management support the innovation. Kudler Fine Foods uses experience and knowledgeable staff to help customers (University of Phoenix, 2007, 2010, 2011). The staff and management of Kudler Fine Foods is the image of the company. Its culture is root in customer service. Through the innovation process, Kudler Fine Foods can meet their organizational goals and objectives and live up to Kathy Kudler’s vision of establishing a respectable customer service in store as well as through the Internet. One such example of innovation is the plans to create a frequent shopper program for their three stores in Southern California. Customers who participate in the program will receive news about store events, featured products, and sales. In addition, they will be given exclusive offers on select merchandise and discounts on cooking and wine classes (Kudler Fine Foods, 2013). The sales and marketing department can hold special events with the local hotels to introduce this new idea. The teaming up with local hotels brings uniqueness in the marketplace and will set Kudler apart from its competition.
