Jacksonville University Admission Essay

I fully understand your reasons for my rejection from admission to Jacksonville University. But I am asking you to reconsider my application. In high School I definitely didn’t excel to what I am capable of doing you could say I was a very average student, But do not get me wrong I am an extremely hard worker no matter what challenge I am faced with. Last spring something happened to me that change my life forever. My father had a life threatening stroke. Leaving me and my family extremely sorrowful. Throughout his time in ECU, Hospital care, and rehabilitation all I was thinking was why did this had to happen to such a great man and even better father. Instead of redirecting my emotions negatively I tried to be as positive as I could be.
Even though this was a devastating moment in my life it was a real wake up call for me. I needed to get my life on track and I am going to do that by working as hard as I possibly can! I will go to a great college, work my butt off, and get a degree and a job I can be proud of, and Ill do whatever it takes to achieve these goals and most definitely I think Jacksonville University would be the place to do such. After touring the university I realized this is the place for me! I loved everything about, I felt at home. The campus, academics, and athletics everything was outstanding. A few thing that caught my eye on the campus was the amazing view of the Saint Johns river especially from the beautifully remodeled River House. Also everyone i met that day had such a positively and friendly attitude something like that is really hard to find! When talking academics I was extremely impressed with what I was told and what I found researching. With my intended major to be business finding out it was one of the universities signature programs was just icing on the cake.and with the 4+1 program they offer you can graduate in just five years with both a bachelors and an MBA which I found
