Job Interview Analysis
I observed interview, which take approximately 5-7 minutes. Interview was about financial analyst position in Network Appliances, Inc. However, interview was partially successful even with few insignificant mistakes. In addition, there are three main phases in interview, namely opening, question response, closing.
Interview begins with opening phase. The beginning of opening phase was quite, because there was handshaking and smiling, which made interview atmosphere friendlier. However, the lack of motivation from the interviewers made some vacuum between interviewee and interviewers. Moreover, I could not found any evidence of small talk between them, which may also made atmosphere little more hostile. When it comes to introduction of panel, it was done properly and purpose of this interview stated clearly.
The most important phase is question response phase. As a matter of fact, several types of questions was asked. The first question was open-ended and presented interest of employers to interviewee. The question is “Let me ask about your previous job experience. In which company? When? ” and I found this relevant and vital in order to be aware of the experience that candidate acquire and where and when he was able to exercise them. By way of contrast, this closed question “Do you have any certificate of ACCA or CAT?” was also asked. The interviewee replied immediate and therefore, it made candidate look in front of interviewers more confident. One of the next question, which took my attention, was direct/specific question about “What kind of financial programs do you know? “. The question I think is important because it is important to be familiar what exactly employee can perform IT field. Besides, hypothetical question about was asked. The answers was quite detailed and straight. I consider that, in the interview this question was quite relevant due to possibility of candidate to demonstrate own best side such creativity. The last type of question was “leading”. The interviewee was a little confused, because he did not expected this question to be asked, but he was able to answer as good as possible. Even so, that questions as Loaded Third-Person, Verbal and Nonverbal Probes are not asked, this interview could be examined as full and informative for both interviewers and candidate for this job. In conclusion, I would mention that all question all relevant and placed in right place during interview and as for answers, the most of them was clear and full.
The last phase of interview was closing phase. Closing phase was quite well but I admitted few omissions. This phase contain body language such as smiling and handshaking, which was performed not at appropriate level because there was slight feeling of unfriendliness. Nevertheless, there was a question from interviewee to future employers. The question was” What bonuses the company can offer me as an employee”. The answers was “Company will offer for employees free transportation and some assistance with finding accommodation”. The question made this phase complete.
To conclude, I would suggest that in overall, this interview was successful and the candidate has all chance to be accepted by this Company as a financial analyst.

The first thing that stood out the most to me is that a lot of people were applying for the same position, so it is imperative that you are comfortable around large groups of people. Self-appearance and a high confidence level will put you in a better position to stand out amongst the many applicants. A high confidence level produces a more personable interview. You should always be able to be interviewed on the spot by representatives from different organizations and maintain professionalism and proper diction. You should also have sufficient and correct contact information and references available upon request.…

On a cold Sunday morning, I conducted a short clinical interview with my friend Matt who enthusiastically agreed to be my test subject. Matt is a third-year advertising major here at UT-Austin. Because he is enrolled in the Moody College of Communication, he has only taken basic science and mathematics classes for non-majors. The last math class he took was Calculus 408L (integral calculus) during his first year of college. I chose to give him the question that divides a fraction by a fraction (1/5 divided by 2/3) because I personally had a hard time justifying why dividing by a fraction meant multiplying by the reciprocal. Therefore I wanted to see how someone with a different mathematics…

I wanted to make the situation feel real instead of reading from a script. Therefore, both of us had read the cases and were adequately prepared to answer all questions. Before starting I also read up on the style in Comer and some from the internet. I learned that I should not deviate from the script but only try to entice further explanation of the situation, feelings or emotions. It was also a common rule for the interviewer to not share their own beliefs and opinions.…

The interviewing processes were an eye opener for me, as I have conducted interviews on many occasions and never truly had a process. My process involved asking questions based on whether or not the applicant felt that they were capable of fulfilling the job requirements. I now have learned that by being prepared with a job description, a list of competency questions and knowing what questions lead to conversation about the past experiences of the interviewee that can relate to the current position that is looking to be filled.…

I want to start off by saying that I know I have an accent and please don't assume it's Russian. More and more people are complaining about the GoTranscript test, about our rules, about the low acceptance rate and to be honest, I have pretty much had it with all this whining. First of all, the tests have we've had so far were easy. All you had to do is listen carefully, read our guidelines, and do some research. These things are in job description. Our clients don't always have good quality files. Some may have background noise. Some might be in a difficult accent. Some might contain terms you've never heard of. But we have to provide 98%, 99% accuracy for all of our clients.…

The mock interview was a great chance for me because it was the real process of how in the real world interviews are conduct. In this interview I took a time to observe myself how I actually did it for example my body language and how I behaved during the interview. This was the first time for me to sit in front of the professional who asked me question about my strength and weakness at first it was hard for me answer because I was nervous as well but then it kind off give me an idea what I will be expecting in my future interview process. Watching myself, though difficult at times, was very enlightening for many reasons. I learned what my flaws were and I also learned that there are things that I did well that I should be confident about. Some areas that I need to work on is to provide specific answers for example when asked about my strengths, values and where you want to see yourself in the next five years or so. During the interview I was nervous but when the interviewee asked me about my background from that on I kind off picked up and then I was on track but not fully. I was asked question about randomly like what are my career goals and future plans are because there was no job description given so it was fun to me and now I know where I am standing and what are my flaws . This interview actually boost my confidence to the top. But then always prepare yourself for the questions that you know you will be asked for this way there will no issues of losing confident.…
