Case 1 – BMW and Apple

2) Compare the two Annual Reports, for 2012, and describe their Structure and their Format/Layout: Both BMW and Apple Inc. are main players on their industries, automotive and technology, respectively. As multinational companies they are present in many countries and have huge revenues that account for more than 100 billion US dollars (Note: We used the ratio 1 : 1,3255 for the conversion from Euros to US dollars – 11/09/2013). Regarding net income both companies have profits, still Apple has a higher margin than BMW with 26,6% against 6,6%. Annual Report Structure Front page
