The position of a brand ambassador is of repute and recognition. A brand ambassador is seen at launch parties and in marketing campaigns of products and it seems, they live a truly luxurious life. While it is certainly true that celebrities who're brand ambassadors of legendary products enjoy numerous benefits given by the firm, they have to, (speaking in professional terms) discharge several duties that is entailed in brand ambassador job description. Not only a brand ambassador is a face of the product he or she is representing, he or she also helps in branding the product.

What is a brand ambassador and what is his or her job? The main objective of a brand ambassador is to inform the consumers about the products of an organization. While most of the brands are endorsed by celebrities (as a part of strengthening corporate branding by promoting products among the masses), recent years have seen the rise of brand ambassador jobs. Many popular brands select young, dynamic and smart candidates for brand ambassadors position. Various aspects of brand ambassador job description include generating public interest in the product. In most of the cases, brand ambassadors represent the company during trade shows, exhibitions and parties. Usually, in US and all across the globe, celebrities are endorsed as brand ambassadors of products because they're popular figures in society. However, nowadays, in some professions, like for trade shows and promoting wine in clubs, companies don't hesitate to hire candidates with excellent communication and great looks for brand ambassador's position.

Celebrity brand ambassadors may earn huge money by endorsing brands. However, individuals who're hired for brand ambassador jobs in US, to act as company marketing representatives or what we can call as customer relationship managers earn modest income of US $20,000 to US $35,000 per year. Certainly, you may find many job openings for brand ambassadors in different types of work set ups too. However, when we talk about brand ambassadors in general, the image that evokes in our minds is that of famous celebrities.

The brand ambassador duties are not very specific when it comes to brand ambassador job description. All the work is mostly done by brand managers and the public relations agency. However, it is the brand ambassador who steals the show on the stage. As such, no qualifications are required for the position of brand ambassador however, an imposing personality and excellent communication skills are prerequisites to become a brand ambassador. While large-scale companies look for celebrity ambassadors, increasingly large number of companies are also hiring brand ambassadors from among the talented youth.
