Identify key aspects of physical, intellectual, emotional and social development at each of the life stages.
P1- identify key aspects of physical, intellectual, emotional and social development at each of the life stages

There are four different life stages. These are physical, intellectual, emotional and social. In this section, I am going discuss about the life stages from conception to older age (65+) Conception (egg and sperm)
When you are conceived the only life stage you go through is physical. The sperm and egg meet and fro then the foetus develop. You physically develop your body parts and grow to a certain size. When in the stomach you don’t have any emotional feelings, you don’t socialize with anyone and intellectually you don’t use your brain or anything.
Infants (0-3 year old)
In the first 3 years, the baby learns how to crawl, roll over, walk and run. Your young and you experience different things every day. Your body is active so you are physically able to do anything. At that age you learn nursery rhymes, songs and you learn how to talk properly. You use your brain and do new thing every day. Emotionally you become closer and loved towards your family. You cry for your parents and you need their comfort to cheer you up. When you’re young you become closer to your family and you stay with them more and get to know each other. Your love for them develops.
Childhood (4-10 year old)
Physically young children enjoy certain activities such as running, jumping, dancing, riding a bike and some children learn how to swim. They become more fit and active at that age and they are able to do many things. It is pivotal that they are supervised during the activities. Slowly they grow taller and become bigger. Intellectually children become more alert in education. They want to learn more and about their surroundings and history. They start asking question about different sorts if things. At this age their learning rapidly grows. Socially some children make new friends and they play together and become open towards each others. At this age they need friends to socialise with. Emotionally, children begin to cope with their feelings and they learn about manners. They also develop crushes towards the opposite sex.

Teenagers (11-18 year old)
As a teenager you still are growing. Your body becomes developed and you start seeing changes. For a male your voice becomes deeper and you start growing facial hair. For a female you develop certain lady parts. When you reach 18, your body can physically stop growing. When you are a teenager you do your exams which help you think about your future and what you like to do when you grow up. They are able to solve problems like adults, and slowly are becoming like adults. As a teenager, you are extremely hormonal and you go through a lot. You sometimes have break downs and have mixed feelings about everything. This stage is very difficult. Teenagers isolate themselves from their families and stay with their friends more than their family. You get into relationships and experience sexual activities.
Grown up (18-65 year old)
When you are a grown up you need to be more careful with your body. Slowly your body becomes stiff and you are not able to move very much. You may have a weak eye sights and weak hearing. The colour of your hair changes and wrinkles appear on your faces. Your brain becomes slower and you start to forget certain things. When it comes to real life problems they are more aware. When you are older you become stressed and you get into serious relationships and think about starting a future with your partner. As a adult you make new and important friends, who become part of your life and help you throughout the difficult times.
Older age (65+)
When you become old you become very weak and your body parts loosen up and this makes you lazy and tired. To walk, it will take you longer than someone who is younger. Your breathing will become difficult and you get illnesses. Your body is unable to do what a younger individual can do. Older people are more likely to forget things and that stuff that happened many years ago they may not remember. They can’t solve problems because tier brains become slow. When you are older, you can’t really do much. You would rather stay at home and be by yourself and not interact with others around you. You retire from jobs and just relax your body. At an old age, your self- esteem and confidence is low. They bond with their families and grandchildren and become close and loved up towards them.
