How to Use a Charcoal Grill
How to use a Charcoal Grill Good Afternoon, when I was a younger boy I always looked forward to the summer spending time outdoors with my family and friends. One of the outdoor activities that I always enjoyed is helping my father cook on the grill. Till this day I experience the same type of excitement of cooking on the grill and people still ask me the same question. Which type of grill do you like to cook on? Is it a Charcoal Grill or a Gas Grill? My answer of course is always a Charcoal Grill. They also ask well why not a Gas Grill? My answer is nothing against a Gas Grill but the food that I cook on a Charcoal Grill has just a better taste to me and that’s something that I always prefer. So now that you know that I like to cook on a Charcoal Grill here are pretty much of the basic fundamentals steps on how to use one which I find is pretty fairly easy.
Steps on how to use a Charcoal Grill Now before I start cooking on my grill I always make sure that I place the grill in an open area in my backyard. Not inside my home or on a deck which I find to be very dangerous. I also make sure that my grill is on flat surface away from trees or anything that’s flammable. Once I do that I normally use my scraper and scrap the top part of the grill which is the grill surface. The reason why I do that is to make sure the grill surface is clean and is also helps remove any ash and grease that’s on there. Once that is taken care of the next step I would do is prepare to dump charcoal onto the bottom rack of my grill. Now some charcoals that you buy already come presoaked with lighter fluid which is the kind that I normally tend to buy. In that case I would place a chimney starter which is a metal cylinder on the grill and place 2 or 3 pages of newspaper at the bottom and add charcoals on the top. The reason why I tend to use a charcoal starter is that I don’t have to bother with using any lighter fluid and I also that it allows more heat which makes the
