How To Read Against Grain

Great job with your post. You picked a great article and brought up many questions that all readers should be asking. I really liked how you read against the grain and questioned the authors definition and meaning of certain sentences. By reading against the grain you were able to look at the article from a different view then and bring up many points that I did not think about when reading the article the first time. After this assignment I will begin to read with and against the grain in all my textbook readings and scholarly articles to become a stronger reader.
