Overview
Time and money are two factors that influence business largely. In this scenario information technology and innovation in information technology becomes a great aid to business as it reduces the cost of running business as well as it reduces time of doing business. The integration of information system into business has enabled it do much more than it could previously; also it simplified many of its day-to-day activities. Therefore, IT innovation plays a significant role in the present world, which includes business as well.
Insurance system is one such system that needs to be quick and vigilant at the same time. Insurance claim procedure should be done quickly but also should be watchful while completing the procedure. For example, a claimer could make a false medical claim; this should be identified in short time because medical insurance claims should not be kept long. In the U.A.E region, an online claim system is used by medical insurance field, which is regulated by the different Health Authorities of the U.A.E. It has enhanced the business and facilitates bettor performance through better decision making. The whole process has been simplified for the payers as well as the providers; this facilitates a smoother and clearer processing of claim, gaining higher trust from both payer as well as the provider. It is clear by now that businesses which make use of innovative information technology has gone ahead whereas the businesses which doesn’t make use of innovative information technology is remaining same or beginning to face tough competition. It has been proven that the investment in rightly chosen innovative information technology has brought prosperity.
