What the industrial revolution affected to the society?

The industrial revolution occurred in United Kingdom and spreaded to USA and Russia. Also in the late 20th century, it spreaded to East Asia and Africa. The origin of the revolution was in 18th century of England. This phenomenon was not a sudden change, but a progressive innovation of technology which had continued from old times. So, we can say all of the scientific technologies and developments are based on this industrial revolution. This revolution affected the society of the time enormously.
