Honors Class

Why did I take sign up for an Honors class? This isn’t the first nor the last time I have been asked this, but I must say my answer has changed drastically since the previous questioner. I used to believe school was just boring. I believed that it would always be me sitting through a class, waiting for the end. I always made extraordinary grades, but seemed to be bored. The last time I was asked I answered that it was because It would look good for me to get into college. Now I realize it’s because I want a challenge. I was bored in school because it didn’t keep me engaged and never pushed me. I took my first honors class my freshman year and I instantly realized it was where I belonged. I actually had to put in the effort and think about the problems
I want a class where I am going to have to put in the hard work, and explore new ways to learn. I need a class that is going to keep me on my toes. I hope that by taking this class I will find each day more challenging than the next, and walk away knowing that I accomplished more than I ever thought that I could. As a student I am willing to give you 100% of me, but in return I am asking you to never be easy on me. I am asking you to push me until I reach my full potential. That is why I took an honors
