Avoid Conflicts of Interest
We must elude any relationship or action that might harm, or even appear to harm, our capability to make independent and reasonable decisions when carrying out our jobs. We may be challenged with situations where the business actions we take on behalf of HTRC may conflict with our own personal or family securities because of the strategy that is best for us for ourselves may not also be the best sequence of action for HTRC. We owe a responsibility to HTRC to advance its genuine welfares when the opportunity to do so rises. We must never use HTRC possessions or material for self-gain or personally take any opportunity that is revealed through our position with HTRC.

Managers have an obligation to generate an open and compassionate environment where employees feel relaxed raising such questions. We all benefit immensely when employees practice their control to stop mistakes or misconduct by questioning the right things at the right times.
HTRC will investigate all conveyed occurrences of uncertain or unethical behavior. In each instance where inappropriate behavior is found to have transpired, the company will take fitting action. We will not stand vengeance against employees who raise ethics concerns in honesty.

Our obligation to truthfulness begins with obeying the laws, rules and regulations where we do business. Further, all of us must have an understanding of the company policies, laws, rules and regulations that relate to our specific roles.
