My Gratitude Dear Mr. and Mrs. Eutsey, my parents I would just like to take some time to thank you both for putting up with me over the years and allowing me to have a roof over my head and a place to call home. I am 25 years old now and over the years I have learned many things but probably the most prevalent thing is that without you two I would be in a bad place mentally and possibly physically. Most people don’t take the time to thank their parents for the gift of life and a proper upbringing and the positive effect it had had on their adulthood and their life all together. I feel that I have so much to be thankful for, from the proper manners I currently possess, my proper etiquette, or the smarts I have which allow me to pursue a higher education. All the times you both have bailed me out of tough situations and never turned your backs on me regardless of anything. All the times I have had car trouble and dad has come to my rescue. I remember once he drove all the way to the middle of nowhere in between Sacramento and Los Angeles just to call a tow truck for my car and we waited for nearly 5 hours then made a 5 hour drive back to southern California. So I think this big thank you is long overdue and I hope the both of you understand how much I appreciate the help and push to succeed over the past 25

Growing up in a small family, I witnessed the way my father took an active role in his family. He was the bread-winner of his family, yet he never neglected us. He is a loving father. He cares a lot about his daughters. My dad will do anything for his children. Since I could remember to this present moment, he was always been someone whom I can count on to help me in my time of need. He taught me how to be a better person by respecting myself, respecting others, and being a woman on integrity. He has been a good example for me by instilling strong family bonds; because of him I turn out to be a great mom to my children and a good wife to my husband.…

Moving away from home and being in college, I look back on my years at home with a little bit of sadness and tad bit of regret. I realize that I took my father for granted. When I would complain about how much homework a teacher had given me, I never once heard him complain about staying late after work. When I would complain about not having the latest outfit, I never once heard him complain about…

My dad on the other hand, has always been the greatest. My dad always loved being in the outdoors with me and my brother since we were very little. He still enjoys throwing us pitches in the batting cage just for fun or before our baseball games. He also taught me how to hunt which is now one of my favorite activities to do. My Dad has taught me to work hard at everything I do either playing ball or by doing a job for someone. I am very grateful to him that he raised me that way.…

Dad, you have always been the only man in my life that I have truly loved; I had never imagined what life would be like without you. As I matured, you taught me that life should always involve happiness. Being an employee of The Record, you allowed me to see what an accomplished and driven father you were. You worked seven days a week, always focused on supporting our family with the low income you made. Nonetheless, you always made sure we had all the necessities, no matter the cost. You asked for little in return, only to come home to a family dinner with your wife and…

I consider myself lucky; I was raised in a loving home with both parents. As a matter of fact we recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. My dad worked his butt off so my mom could stay home with me and my sisters. They have always been there for us no matter what we did; they were always there to give us love and support. They were always there when I needed somebody to talk to and let me know if I done wrong. Sometimes when I done wrong, they would discipline me I know now they were doing it because they loved me. Of course like everyone else I got mad at them a lot, but I always respected them and loved them. They were the ones that cared for me when I was sick and gave me what I needed to get better. My parents have taught me good values such as to be myself, they said to always stick to my own values and what makes me happy, to never stop dreaming, to always dream big and do my best at everything I do and never let anyone or anything stand in my way, to always respect myself and others, to always show kindness and compassion towards other people and treat them in a way that I want to be treated, that it’s important to always tell the truth and to always be thankful and appreciative.…

There is a lot to say of how much I appreciate you. You've done so much for me. Every step of the way, you have supported me. From kindergarten to even today you have never given up on me. I know before I've never listened to much of what you had to say or any of the advice you've given me. Whenever you made some of the choices that you thought were right for me, but I didn't agree with you. I now see what you were trying to do for me. I'd always looked up to you and wanted to be so much like you. A business man and a soccer player was all I've ever wanted to be just to be like you. I remember the day I decided to be a soccer player just like you and you made me run laps around the yard. Then you put me in ayso and became my coach. Now I play soccer with you every week and I enjoy it every time. You would tell me what was right and wrong in all of my decisions. I've tried making decisions on my own, thinking that I didn't need help but you were still there for me waiting to guide me into the right direction. You are my mentor, my inspiration, and most importantly my father. I can remember you telling me that I didn't know what I had to appreciate everything that is in my life. Now that I'm older, I realized what I do have and how much I should be grateful for it. I'm blessed with everything I have and what's available for me to build my own future because some people don't have it as easy as me. It's all because of you, dad, with all that you have done. From a warehouse worker to one of the most successful salesman in the independent business industry. You've never stopped working so you could give me the best life has to offer and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm going to be graduating and head out in the real world. There is a lot out there but I know I will work hard and never give up my dreams to become successful. To be just like you. I love you…
