The acquaintance between people, knowing each other is destined to fate. Although, not all dreams have time to achieve, not all words have time to tell you, always want to cherish the heart after the parting. Meet so hurried, Leave also hurried. High mountains bumpy, let us join hands full with the spirit of Maple Leaf. Because of the wind and rain we can see the beautiful rainbow, because of the wind and rain we didn't stand out of life. The youth season so affectionate, formative years so appealing. If the encounter is only three years ago as a numeral outside of the accident, so three years to know each other and bring our together is the fate, and tonight's gathering is the joy of the three years of happy time. A defining moment in my life was my 8th grade graduation. To most people who went to Hopkins, this may not seem like a big deal but to me, attending a private Christian elementary/middle school for the past 10 years was kind of a big deal. I had just spent the past 10 years with about the same 18 people and just like that- we would never see each other at school together ever again. The switch from a parochial middle school to a public junior high was difficult. The fact that I was no longer with my friends who I build strong relationships with hurt me a lot. It was hard to make friends in 9th grade because I missed all of my old friends so much. This gigantic transition changed many parts of who I thought I was. When at a religious school,…

At that time, I just came back from a culture exchange trip to America which held by our high school. Since the life of high school was extremely stressful and busy, it is no doubt that this 15-day travel abroad gave me a great chance to breathe some fresh air out of the piles of books. During the trip, I not only learnt a lot about foreign culture, but also made a large group of friends. Although we came from different classes and some of us even didn’t know each other before, but we got along like a big family. We sang songs together on the train to Washington; we played games on the grass of street-park; we watched the moon under the sky of the United States when Chinese people celebrated Mid-autumn festival. As a group of innocent teenagers, we spent every day with happiness and mirth that I had never had and we got to know each other little by little.…
