1) Do you see any ethical issues involved in Google’s new approach to combining information from a particular user? Why or why not?

Ethic is a code of deduction and conduct administered by a mix of individual, good, lawful, and social measures of what is correct. Yes, I do see business ethics in Google’s new approach of combining information of users. In a period where innovation is growing quicker than any time in recent memory some time recently, it is extremely hard to manage data security. Privacy is to a great degree difficult to describe and there are an extensive variety of viewpoints of security. Accessing large amount of sensitive data can in way increase revenue for the company which will be further advantageous for the shareholders. However the theory states that it is duty of the manager who work as agents of the stockholders to increase profit in legal and non-fraudulent ways. And also a long term view of the shareholder interest should be considered. As Google had claimed that User will have a control over his control over the information which does not seem to be a case here and hence this may hamper the Users interest which may further impact the Company and the Stockholders. They may be stockholders, customers, employees, suppliers depending on the company working. This theory states that people other than the stakeholder are equally important and their interest should be equally considered which if not done might hamper the company badly. Google had decided to use the account data to control information flow to the Users this might create a sense of doubt in the mind of the Users and a detailed tracking of the information might cause them to look out for other options if available. Since this is highly sensitive data related to every User it should be used in the interest of the people. There can however be a benefit to this approach which will help User to easily find what he is looking for depending on his prior interest. This can impact the revenue in a positive way as User surfing might increase and in turn all the corporate stakeholders are equally treated. 3. Social Contract Theory
This theory considers the social impact on the society of the working of a company. Google is using the account data of the User for its benefit and in way benefit of the Users hence this will not impact well-being of the Society. There is a justice component which states that the profits should be pursued legally. Users have two options to search for information either by direct search without account login or logging into the system. Hence Google is creating profit
