Football Persuasive Speech
The tension was growing stronger and stronger. My team and I were all sitting in the dressing room ready to battle in the stadium. A huge stadium with thousands of fans cheering calling for each players names. The team that started at the bottom but has grown stronger and stronger. They had just surpassed all the teams with top class players and now in the final. The refs, the players and the ball came out of the changing rooms lined up shoulder to shoulder and walked onto the battle field. Winner takes all.

Football it will hurt and will humble. Every game creates a winner and loser, for every triumph a defeat. For every game a new opportunity, for redemption and for glory. The players will take to the field as warriors to battle shoulder to shoulder, face to face. The determination to push limits, to fight like a tigers, to run like cheetahs, to tackle like a snake, defend like a spider, attack like a hyena, score like a panther, and celebrate like never before. As the new season stars, new players will rise, new teams will take over, new stadiums will rock, new challenges will be created, new battles will be fought, in the name of victory, in the name

Football over the Years Everything changes over time, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, and others you can’t really tell it has changed at all but in football you can easily tell the changes it has been through over the years. While all sports have changed over the years football seems to have changed the most dramatically from rules, equipment, stadium and even in the way we watch football today. When American football was born it was an all-white sport played with hardly no equipment for protection except for a leather helmet to protect your head, the game was played on hard dirt and as you can expect, injuries were constant and some deaths even occurred from the brutal hits and the missing component of protection equipment.…

The stadium was filled to full capacity with women, men, and children. I could not spot an empty seat in the place. Many spectators were dressed in colors of black, blue, and gold. However, the overall majority of the crowd was dressed in black and red. After the singing of the National Anthem, the football teams flooded the field in grandiose fashion. The crowd became ecstatic. The fans were cheering so loud that neither my girlfriend nor I could hear each other. The first quarter of the game seemed rather dull and mediocre, however by the second quarter, things had become incredibly intense. At the commencement of the second quarter, I could see athletes perform almost superhuman feats such as running, jumping, and throwing. The athletes appeared to be demigods with helmets and modern day gladiators. One player got hit so hard that he was carted off the field. Nonetheless, the game continued without a skipping a beat. During the second quarter, fans continued to cheer and chant for their teams. As the masses roared, the players responded by playing more aggressively. As the game went on, each team proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Each time one team scored, the other team replied with a score of their own. The back and forth scoring kept the fans on edge and tense. By the end of the second quarter, the game had become tied with only the second half…

It was a crisp cold fall day at Lambeau field. I could see everything that was happening the whole entire time. The field was as green as a tree in the middle of Summer. The cold wind was whistling in my ear. The smell the hot dogs, burgers, and turf from the field filled my nose as the game begin. All I could hear were people cheering on the Packers and the jumbotron blaring, “Go pack go!” I could see the running back Eddie Lacy drive the ball into the end zone and everyone went wild. A mix people cheering and screaming filled my ears. After the opposing team returned the ball everyone started cheering, “Defense, defense, defense!” The watched the ball get intercepted and run down the field for another touchdown! The crowd roared and I got…

Hearing the crowd scream as the stunt hits gets the adrenaline pumping to push through the routine and fight for the stunts. Can you guess what “sport” is being talked about? Well it’s cheerleading. Yes cheerleading is really a sport even though many people will argue it. Cheerleaders that are seen at the New England Patriots are sideline cheerleaders and do not show the physical aspect of cheerleading like competitive cheerleaders do. Although cheerleading is not seen as an official sport it is because cheerleading takes a lot of physical activity to preform and put a routine together, competition and sideline cheerleading are two different…
