Fed Ex, the Shipping King
FedEx Corporation is an American global courier delivery service company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. The name "FedEx" comes from the name of the company 's original air division, “Federal Express”, which originated in1973 and was used until 2000. “Fed Ex” is known for delivering packages on time to almost anywhere in the world. Whether it’s an envelope to an office building, a box to someone’s home or pallets of boxes to a business, “Fed Ex” is without a doubt the shipping king. While some claim that they are the most expensive, others deem them reliable and efficient. In fact, Fed Ex is synonomous with reliability. The tracking service that pin points exactly where your shipment is and exactly who is handling it all the way till it is signed for keeps this company a step ahead of its competitors. . Just How Is This Achieved?
FDE – FedEx Express
FDEG – FedEx Ground
FXFE – FedEx Freight
FDCC – FedEx Custom Critical
FXO - FedEx Office
FSDC- FedEx Same Day City

These are just some of the services offered by Fed Ex. The first one, FDE refers to the original overnight courier services. FDE provides next day air service within the United States and time-definite international service. FedEx Express operates one of the largest civil aircraft fleets in the world and the largest fleet of wide bodied civil aircraft; it also carries more freight than any other airline with access to airports worldwide. Next is FDEG. FDEG is guaranteed day-definite delivery within Canada and the U.S. at a cost savings as compared to time-definite FDE. FDEG uses a large fleet of trucks that are owned by independent owner/operators and drivers that are independent contractors who control individual delivery routes
