Chapter 1
PROJECT BACKGROUND This chapter contains introduction, name of the business and location of the business.
Introduction
Waffle is a batter-based cake cooked in a waffle iron patterned to give a characteristic size, shape and surface impression. There are many variations based on the type of iron and recipe used, with over a dozen regional varieties. Waffles are eaten throughout the world, particularly in Belgium, France, Netherlands, and the United States. One of the habits of Filipino is eating. They widely used their money to buy or to eat foods. The purpose of the business is to give people a new taste of waffle.
Mini-stand is a business establishment operated by a person that serves ready to eat food.
It is also serving as the meeting place for the people who wanted to eat with ease in just a short while.

Background Information Name of the Business The proponent name of the business is “Chocoffle”. Chocoffle comes from the food “Waffle and Chocolate”. Chocoffle provides a unique taste of waffle.
Location of the Business The proposed location of the business is in Brgy. Plaza Aldea Tanay, Rizal. The proponent decided to establish the business there because of lack of establishment of a waffle stand in the area. The target markets of the business are the residents of Tanay.
Objectives
• To gain profit.
• To satisfy the consumers by providing them good taste and services.
Vision
• To be one of the famous Waffles stand in Tanay, Rizal.
Mission
• To provide and give the customers a satisfying and unique taste.
