The name of A Famosa Resort is adapted after fortifications of Portugese on Malacca during the 16th century. A Famosa is located near Simpang Ampat, a short distance away from Malacca. Jason Lioh. After completing its resort in 1992, it started the construction of grass planting for golf, villas, theme park and many other attractions. The ‘paradise’ was then completed in 1996. The popular places preferred by customer are Water World, Cowboy Town and Animal World Safari. A Famosa provides accommodation like Resort Hotel, Candotel and Villas. Another service available under theme park is for sports and recreation. Dining and shopping is provided for customer as well to have hot and cold beverages besides having some souvenirs. Foreigners form Singapore and Japan like to come to this place to play golf. Normally, people come to this place due to many purposes like school camp, family gathering and corporate outing. A group of students under UEL, BA (HONS) International Business from Stamford College Malacca have taken part to make some observations on service provided in A Famosa. Students evaluate what they have observed using walk through audit from A Famosa Resort Berhad based on information, satisfaction, experiences, facilities and ticketing. Majority visitors disagree that A Famosa provides sufficient information and gives satisfaction for the customer. Besides that, expected experience from customer is not really achievable. The three highest disagree frequency need to be highlighted that are information, satisfaction and experiences. In general sense, information describes the knowledge communicated that received which concern about circumstances and facts. Conceptually, information describes the message that is being conveyed.
