Eustress Definition

Eustress is when you have a stressful situation and you use it as an opportunity that will have a positive outcome. Eustress is typically short-term, motivating, exciting and improves performance. An example of eustress in my life is taking this psychology course. I need this class a pre-requisite for the BSN program I am applying to in March. It can be stressful meeting deadlines and performing well. When I look at the final outcome it is totally worth it. It is truly rewarding when you set a goal and are able to achieve the goal.
