We have been asked to write an essay today and for a moment I am lost in my thoughts. This is what happens with me when I have to write something down. The first question that comes to my mind is where and how to begin my essay? Well, I will just try to write about the method that I usually use for the writing.
What I generally do at the beginning is go to check on the Internet any information that related to the topic of my essay. Mostly, some well-written articles and essays give me new ideas that help to begin the writing. After doing some online research and reading different kind of articles, I usually write down all my ideas on the paper before I forget them. And then I take a break from the writing in order to relax and think about my topic. However, it is always better to be prepared for the flow of ideas that can come up to the mind when you are least expecting them.
When I finally know what I am going to write about or have some good ideas, I make an essay plan, which helps to arrange my ideas logically.
The plan includes an introduction, a body that contains several paragraphs and a conclusion. The teacher from my previous school in Sydney used to say that whenever you write an essay you should always have a good introduction. The introduction hooks audience and makes them to be interested to read the whole writing. It is a very important part of any essay.
The body of my essays usually contains two or three paragraphs. The first sentence in each paragraph has a main point that supports the introduction. Other following sentences help to clarify and develop the first one in a paragraph. It happens sometime that I struggle with writing the body part because it is not easy to clarify and expand it. That is why I am hoping to improve my vocabulary and writing skill as soon as possible.
The last part of the essay is the writing of the conclusion. It is the summary of the whole work. I believe that a good conclusion can make any essays to stand out among others and make readers to remember your writing.
Finally, after finishing my essay I carefully read my work and do last editing if it is needed. If everything is right and does not need any changes, I rewrite once again my essay and submit to the teacher.
