Essay On Hasty Generalization
There are many ways things can go wrong. If your grade point average was to drop it could affect your scholarship and you could lose it. Grants are tricky things. If you don’t pay attention to the requirements and the deadlines, you could end up not receiving the grant at all. Both grants and scholarships have due dates you need to be mindful of as well.
Make a list of your needs and wants, and make cuts on what it is that you must have, and other things that are important on a day to day basis. Then look through all your wants that don’t compare in value as your needs and cut them out of your budget. Then look at how you can manage your list of needs making sure you have the money for them.

That extra money will go towards paying off your college tuition. You don’t have to waste gas or go to your “job” because you are already there every day. Try taking some classes in the summer so that you’re not so overwhelmed. If online classes fit your schedule better, go for it.
Thinking that having a part-time job in your situation is going to interfere with school is a hasty generalization. A hasty generalization is a conclusion based on atypical cases. It’s a hasty generalization because not all students do poorly when they are juggling a lot at one time. Avoid being narrow- minded when looking for your solutions. Use the healthy communication climate tip and be open-minded. Being open-minded is very important when make life changing decisions. You tend to make better decisions when you are open minded and you can see many solutions to your problems. Try to think of alternatives.
If you find you have extra time, why not try to do side jobs? For example, offer to mow your neighbor’s yards or to take out their trash. They might only give you like five dollars but every penny counts. Try to cook at home and eat the leftovers the next day that way you will save money. Not only will it help you to save, it will help you eat

It is fairly easy to save money and it becomes easier to save once you get a job. “A high school student who works twenty hours per week (more during the summer, less during school year) and saves $6 per hour of that throughout high school will save $24,960 in savings by the time he starts college (Steinberg 13).” Working may help you get new interests and may inspire those who are confused about what you want to do. Many students have a belief their grades will drop if they work but a 1993 survey proves otherwise. “A 1993 study published in the Journal of Student Financial Aid found that college students who were employed actually had a slightly higher average GPA (2.72) than those who weren't working (2.69) (Steinberg 13).” Meaning those who decide to work during school had slightly higher scores than those who did not. Just like the other 2 solutions this one has a downside that matches up the benefits as well. To begin signing applications and receiving a call back for an interview takes lots of time mainly the waiting for a call back takes most of the time. Another downside is that you may not be able to get a job for a while it takes a long time for people to even get a call back. Mainly being there is no guarantee you will receive a job.…

Even being a full time student could be difficult at first, but in the long run having a part-time job would help the student in different ways. For example, I am a full time student at Shorter University, and I have a job as being a waitress, at Jefferson’s Restaurant. I have lived on my own for two years now, and started back to school this year. I already had a job before I started at Shorter University. So it was harder adjusting to the social life of school than it was for work. I have to work to pay my bills. So having a job in general really helps me in learning responsibility. Sometimes it gets real hard, because instead of having time to study some nights, I have to close at the Jeffersons. But instead of procrastinating on the weekends, I set time apart for my studying I have to do. But once I got into the routine of time management, I felt more mature and responsible than I was before I had a job.…
