Saturday Evening my plans were completely ruined because it was raining so hard and it was so windy that the rain hitting me felt like blades cutting my face so my outdoor plans were canceled. I went to the mall to hang out for the evening, sitting in the middle of the food court so I can have a good view of everyone around me. A tall skinny brown haired girl with sand washed jeans ripped at the knees sitting with a three red haired girls got up to talk to a guy coming into the mall through the food court. She turned back to her friends laughing as they shooed her to talk to the guy. She started to walk slowly in his direction making a detour to the trash can to throw away a gum wrapper to the piece of blue gum she just ate before talking to him. Standing at the trash can she leaned over to make sure her green and brown shoes were tied and tugged at the back of her green shirt to make sure she had no skin showing. She flipped her hair and walked towards him with an odd grin. She got closer, she was hesitant to actually get his attention. She seemed to be physically nervous of him. He was as tall as a doorway entrance and muscular in a gray fitted shirt with black athletic pants and black tennis shoes. He had freckles that complemented his round face. The closer she got to him the redder her face got. She got so close to him that she could reach out and touch him. The young man turned around to her small hand slapping him across his right cheek so hard her hand print remained on his face. He reached for her with anger written on his face when two police officers grabbed her and slammed her so hard into a table that one of gold earrings fell out her ear and onto the floor while her face was pressed harshly into the table. The two police officers began to drag the girl out of the mall as she cursed and kicked viciously at the guy she slapped standing in the middle of the food court holding his face red

Yes, I think that it makes you think about what is going on around you. You think about so many children that are taken by the state and put in homes are abused. These places are supposed to be safe for children and give them a better life then they had, instead it kills them. More measures need to be taken to make sure they are safe and the people that are responsible for their lives are doing their job properly so that this never happens again. This is a sad editorial but it needs to be put out there, he should never be forgotten because the things that happened he should have never had to go through. There were 103 recommendations made at his inquest and they need to be looked at and taken into consideration for the future children that are put in care, and currently those who reside within it.…

Michael tried to help his friend, but unfortunately the other men were too strong and beat Michael up for a good two minutes. That's when the men's girlfriends came outside ,and stop their boyfriends from beating us anymore. Michael said to lewis, “Are you ok” with a groan of pain. Lewis replied with a slurred, “No my jaws broken also they look my jacket. Michael said, “ I told you not to wear those nice things’’ That's when a man who worked at the burger place came outside to help us. He asked us, “ Are you okay?’’ We said at the same time, “not really but we're still good enough to walk.” We said with a moan. He asked if we wanted the police to be called. We said ,’’no.’’ that's when we got up ,and walked home. Michael had managed to cover himself from a lot of the hits ,but as for Lewis he might have had a broken nose ,and a broken jaw and was missing some teeth that's when they started walking home ,and a Ford pickup truck drove by and screamed out don't look at our girls. Michael notice the license plate ,and memorized it. For he would get his revenge personally this is why the police would not be…

If I were a hollywood producer, and I remade “The Seven Ages of Man” I would cast the main character that we saw in the videos to a celebrity named David Tennant. David Tennant can be a serious person whenever that may be needed and he can also put a little bit of comedy into the work. In the first video we see the guy talking to a group of people but is also connecting to the audience. David Tennant connects very well with the audience when doing parts like these and like the guy in the first video Tennant can add some small bits of comedy. In the second video we see the main actor talking to himeself and thinking very hard to himself about what is happening and seems a little depressed. This reminds me of a part that David Tennant did when he played as Hamlet in the BBC version of Hamlet where he had this serious part where he was talking to himself while seeming a little depressed. I would also film the scene with David Tennant walking through the street thinking to himeself or in front of a group like at a workplace or something like that.…

To succeed in my task, I used my existing knowledge of English grammar, syntax and vocabulary to explain a subject trough a video. My knowledge of English allowed me to make sure that there were very few mistakes in my video so the target audience (future secondary 5 students) would be able to understand the relayed information. I used my knowledge gained in Art class about colours and what attracts the eye to make my video as visually interesting as possible. I also used what I learned in last year’s interdisciplinary project on WWII to better understand the context in which the program. What I knew of the economic crisis of 1929, WWI and WWII, learned in secondary 4 history class, also helped me understand the political, social and economical…

Although Mantsios does not focus on the Horatio Alger myth as does Harlon Dalton, both authors concern themselves with seeing beyond the myths of success to underlying realities. Compare the ways these two writers challenge the American mythology of success. Do these two authors complement each other or do you see fundamental disagreements between them? Whose approach do you find more persuasive, insightful, or informative, and why? For your post, you can choose to respond to any one of the above prompts.…

I have attended Argosy University Online since March 21, 2013 to Present. I was a Fulltime student. I'm currently taking my last course with them which is ENG 102. I enjoy taking my classes online. I feel as it is just like sitting in the classroom. When I logon to my class portal everything is there. Currently at Argosy the terms are 5 weeks long. So when I log on I have 5 modules that are one week a piece and have 3 assignments on each module. I participate in a discussion that the instructor puts out and I have to respond to the discussion post and also having to reply to two classmates on their discussion post every week. When assignments are due requiring the use of a text book I navigate under the module that the assignment is due and click on the require text that pertains to the assignment and the text is there from the book. When a writing assignment is due, I normally type the paper in Microsoft word and attach the document into the drop box on Argosy University's student portal and click the drop down box and click which assignment I’m submitting and submit it for grading. If I’m not too much in a hurry I will wait about ten minutes to see what my Turnitin score is. If I have any questions for the professor at any time I go to the left hand side where the modules are and click “Questions for the Professor” and ask my question. If it’s something personal in nature I will send the professor an email.…
