Elon Musk Accomplishments
Elon Musk, known for many accomplishments, Tesla and PayPal to name his biggest achievements. If he keeps going down the path he is, he’s going to be the first trillionaire ever. However success doesn’t come without hard work. As Elon Musk was a young boy he wasn’t like the others. At 10 years old, Musk was very fascinated with computers, and with the Commodore VIC-20 he taught himself to program and 2 years later created a game called Blastar, which he sold for 500 dollars. Fast forward to 1995, Musk was 24 at that time, him and his brother started a web software company called Zip2. It was marketed as a internet “city guide” for the press. While at Zip2, Musk wanted to be the CEO; however no board member allowed it. So they sold Zip2 to Compaq for $307 million. From this deal Musk made $22 million. With $22 million most people would retire and live an easy life, but as an entrepreneur Musk wanted more. With Tesla’s earnings, they wanted to make the world more reliant on renewable energy. With that goal in mind they created a gigafactory necessary in shifting the world to be more reliant on using renewable energy. The first step to fasten the Earth’s change into clean energy, is to produce enough electric cars to force the automobile industry to change. Cars are one of the biggest causes of global warming, so eliminating that factor will help our problem global of warming. With only 10 of these gigafactories Tesla can provide the whole world with sustainable energy. Which will stop global warming before it’s too late. There is a big benefit in switching to renewable energy, it’s clean, it’ll stop global warming, and once the world shifts to a sustainable energy, it’ll be cheaper or even free to power your
