Why was Catholicism so successful in spreading to the Americas and Philippines but not China or Japan?
Context:
Catholicism was one of the well-known and worldwide religion by 1750 that was spread among a wide range of places particularly Mesoamerica and Philippines. Yet, it was not effectively spread in China and Japan. Some of the problem about Christian history is that Chinese society of other different religions in China usually tried to remove everything that is related to Christianity, so it is not clear in the beginning centuries, but then it started to get clear enough to imagine why they expelled Christianity. Though, Mesoamerica and Philippine did not have a bound together religion and individuals were not educated like China which it made the European's took opportunity of the situation and take over Mesoamerica and Philippine.
• Evidence 1: China had solid and educated religion which empowered it to rise its energy without thinking about alternate places, furthermore it turned into the strongest religion for many centuries, because their religion can still be seen nowadays in China and Japan. "China did not avoid masterminds and world class individuals to express their thought regarding the Confucius setting which it made their religion turned out to be more easy to refute among themselves (Strayer, 2012, 737).”
• Evidence 2: The condition in Mesoamerica and Philippine were inverse. Local individuals in Mesoamerica and Philippine were not educated like China and Japan, so it made individuals change over their religion effortlessly to Christianity and suspected that Christianity was the main effective religion. That is because they were attracted to the new religion in their homeland and converted their faith and believes into the newly-coming religion, Christianity (Strayer, 2012, 728).

Additionally, they were socially diminished through sickness and savagery. Nevertheless, China and Japan were politically solid and very much organized their region which it made alternate nations to not persuade them to change over their religion.

That’s why the when the Europeans came to America, they colonize Mesoamerica in an easy
