Drinking Soda Research Paper
Giving up soda is hard especially when you drink it everyday. I used to drink a can of coke everyday, I try to limit the amount of soda I drink a week to about 1-2 cans. When I first stopped drinking soda it was hard I always craved it but over time I found that I did not crave it as much and actually felt better.

Thinking that soda won’t cause the child any immediate harm is unfortunately common.” (Khara) Unfortunately for the United States, it’s one of the first countries to start drinking soft drinks. Soda can also be termed as soft drink, coke or fizzy drink and is consumed by all ages worldwide. The government regulation of people's dieting is wrong, they are collectivism. This is not right, everyone is not the same. It absurd to make people stop drinking what they want and what they want to eat. They are trying to become a dystopia state, the government is trying to control everything that a person is doing. Is not their chose to tell people to lose weight. I'm guessing they know what they are doing. Banning sodas and putting how many calories the food has is not really going to change their option. In regards to whether or not we should ban sodas and fast food on the campus of State University, I disagree with this action. I do not think that we should ban fast food or sodas because people are entitled to what they want to eat. By prohibiting fast food and sodas, we would outrage some of the students and they would feel some of their rights are taken by limiting their number of food sources they are entitled to. Even though the obesity rate is high in the USA, people still have the right to consume anything that they want to. Whether or not they know the consequences of what they are putting into their bodies is not our problem, but we can’t take away from them. Life is all about choices. They choose…

This year for cross country I decided to try to stop drinking pop. I stuck to the resolution for about a month, but then I gave in on a Sunday, in fact, every Sunday after the first month I drank some. I normally drank pop about two times a week before I tried to go without it, so when I started the temptation wasn’t bad at all. However, every Sunday my family goes out to eat at Culver’s because we go to church in Clear Lake. The free pop I get with my kid's meal finally got to me (I get the kids meal so I can get custard for free at the end of my meal). If I were to do something like this again I would choose something else to eliminate from my diet instead of…
