Dodgeball Argumentative Essay

Dodgeball is not appropriate activity for physical education class because the class is geared towards “Positive experiences so that kids want to be physically active outside of physical education class and throughout their lifetime.” In my experience of dodgeball there was a lot of targeting involved. Meaning a certain group of students would go after somebody that is not as athletic as they are. This student hated going to physical education class for this reason because she felt bullied in the game because there was a lot of taunting and when she would comeback in the group would instantly go after her again. She would skip physical education classes all together to avoid dodgeball and all she learned from physical education class was that if she participated in physical education activities such as dodgeball she would only get bullied.
