Exercise is the physical exertion of the body to sustain one’s health and fitness. There are main activities that qualify as exercise. To exercise and promote weight loss it is recommended that you exercise three times a week for at least 45 to 60 minutes. Exercise can affect one physically by changing your ap Weight loss has been proven to be the toughest achievement of many people. Dieting can affect people of all races and social classes. Females in particular have more of a struggle losing weight and keeping the weight off than males. There are many methods to losing weight. Two effective methods of weight loss are diet and exercise. Dieting and exercising must be done in moderation to promote healthy weight loss too much of either method can be harmful to one’s health. Selecting the right diet plan and exercise regime to fit your body and health condition is beneficial to successful weight loss. Diet and exercise can promote a healthy and overall wellness to your health by boosting you physically, emotionally and psychologically.
Dieting is the act of consuming foods that are healthy to the body and promote weight loss. There are many different types of diets that people use to lose weight. Some diets can be more harmful than others. Fad diets are diets that promote fast weight loss with little effort. Fad diets can be harmful to you physically because weight loss at a rapid rate can be harmful to the body. Rapid weight loss can result in more health problems such as regained weight, loss of muscle mass, and kidney problems, just to name a few effects of rapid weight loss. According to Riebel, L.L. (1991) “The goal is not to use heroic will power to crush "unruly" impulses, but to rediscover natural eating.” This means that dieting and weight loss should not be hard if you just eat healthy foods.
