Successful organizations are created with extreme creativity and innovation. For the this case study, the creative thinker I have chosen to profile is the founder and the chief executive officer (CEO) of the popular social network known as “Facebook”. His name is Mark Zuckerberg. Currently, at a young age of 27 years of age, the nation views him as one of the most influential innovators and is ranked as one of the youngest billionaires in the nation today according to the sources at Forbes.…
Each question is worth 2 points. Edit each answer so your final answer has 90-110 words. Keep your answers focused, make your arguments logically, and use the textbook and class materials to defend your answers.…
A real life example of creative intelligence would be a computer programmer realizing that the current systems used was lacking a user-friendly interface and restructuring the program to fit the needs of the business.…
* The second entails a combination of reasoning and creativity and is more difficult to learn. A researcher must begin with native intelligence and imagination and add training and experience properly to apply the information found. Creativity is necessary to explore the relevant relationships among the circumstances and problems at hand to find a satisfying (and defensible) solution. In many cases, no legal authority exists that is directly on point for the problem. If such a situation comes up, the researcher must combine seemingly unrelated facts, ideas (including those that he or she has derived from previous research work), and legal authority to arrive at a truly novel conclusion. This creative ability of the researcher often spells the difference between success and failure in the research process.…
Creativity is more about the process rather than the end product and this creative process is useful for many reasons, developing confidence, developing good relationships, finding out what talents and strengths we have and teaches us about…
As long as intelligence analysis continues to be tradecraft, it will remain a mystery. The quality of any tradecraft depends on the innate cognitive capabilities of the individual and the good fortune one has in finding a mentor who has discovered, through many years of trial and error, unique methods that seem to be effective. This process of trial and error is, in general, similar to any scientific process, except that the lessons learned in tradecraft, unlike those of other disciplines, often occur without being captured, tested, or validated.1…
Creative thinking skills are developed by finding new ways to perform a desired task without depending on the knowledge of a textbook, this is necessary on all the different career paths and work fields as no one would carry a book about their profession to work.…
The intention of this paper is to discuss how the intelligence landscape and profession is adapting to the changing information and technology landscape. This will be achieved by defining what intelligence is in relation to the modern information environment and how the intelligence cycle has changed and developed over time, followed by an analysis of the modern day issues faced by the intelligence community. Doing so will provide a basis upon which comparisons between the old and the new can be drawn can be drawn and identify more precisely the issues that currently exist within the modern intelligence community and how these issues should and/or can be addressed. There will be a particular focus upon the past 20 years during which time the intelligence landscape has transformed considerably due to the introduction and development of advanced information-gathering techniques and related technologies. While the introduction of new technologies have resulted in easier access to many forms of…
In this Tedtalk video the speaker, Ken Robinson, talks about creativity and how it should lead to the future of education. He describes how education today is structured for big industry. All of the highly important classes are structured around language and mathematics. He also states the way education destroys creativity. We are punished for wrong answers and awarded for right answers. This makes us more afraid of being wrong and less likely to make an attempt if we feel we may be wrong. Children are born willing to take chances and explore creativity. Over the years we loose this because every time we do something seen as wrong we are corrected. Along with the correction we adept and stop doing what makes us unique. He also described the 3 parts to intelligence; diverse, dynamic,…

Critical thinking is vastly important to the success of the intelligence communities in that the ability to think critically and to think ‘outside of the box’ allows intelligence analysts to pursue leads they may have previously…
Creativity is often more about the process rather than the end project, it is useful for many reasons:…
Creativity requires motivation and a passion for what you are doing. Whenever I take on a project or goal, I try to do it as passionately, and creatively as possible. I make it enjoyable to do, and fascinating to listen to. For example, if I was given an assignment to…
I am writing today to discuss the slow depletion of creativity from the coming generations of young Americans. In a report made by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman, a creativity test administered to millions of people showed a grave decline in their creativity scores as years progressed. The largest decline being in the demographic of children between kindergarten and sixth grade. Numbers don’t lie, and outlined in the publication there’s no doubt the ability to create for our nation’s youth has declined. Of course many things can contribute to such an obscure problem. However, I believe faults in our school system bear much of the blame for the students shortcomings. As a result, it is necessary for some preventative action to be in place to prevent an outbreak from becoming an epidemic.…
Creativity is seeing the same situations others do but putting an individual twist on the outcome or circumstances surrounding it. The Navy's Seabees have a "can do" motto which exemplifies creativity. "You probably will not have the resources available so you must think out-side the box to accomplish the job". Most people attempt to accomplish their duties and obligations in a timely manner. "Your assignment is to be emailed to me by Friday, the 27th of February," my unseen professor demanded in her syllabus.…
