Dangers Of Text And Driving
Your cell phone can kill you. Drivers shouldn’t be able to text and drive because it’s dangerous to everyone if you text and driving, you could crash since you’re not focused on the road and you and the person you hit could become seriously injured or DIE. The first reason why cell phones are dangerous is it’s dangerous to everyone if you are texting and driving. In fact in the article “ Parents Share Son’s Fatal Text Message to Warn Against Texting and Driving “ (Parents Share page 137) it said in a split second you could ruin your future, injure or kill others and tear a hole in the hearts of everyone who loves you. Another piece of evidence is you could crash since you are not focused. If you are distracted while driving you could crash into another car or even a pole, sign or anything that is not moving around you. in fact in the article “ The Science Behind Distracted Driving “ (The Science Behind page 139) is says “ they are not looking at the road. They are not staying in their lane. And they are missing traffic lights “ all of that means they are texting and driving, which is causing them to be distracted and do bad things.

The third reason cell phones are dangerous to everyone if you are texting and driving is that you could crash. You could crash because you are distracted and not focused on the road. You could hit a pole or a person or another car. Also if you are distracted you can and most likely will kill someone else. in fact in the article Parents share sons fatal text message to warn against texting and driving it says on page 137 that in a split second you could ruin your future, injure or kill others and tear a hole in the hearts of everyone who loves

    First of all, distraction is one of the major causes leading to accidents. From the moment of picking up the phone, to read a text, to the moment it is being put back down, there is a loss of sight from the road which could either result in a life threatening accident, or a lucky escape from a life threatening accident. A Nationwide survey has shown that 45 percent of Americans said they've either been hit or nearly hit by a driver on a cell phone (Saletan 2).
