In today’s society , cell phones play a big part in the lives of many people around the world. Tasks such as making cells, texting, taking photos and even surfing the internet have not only been made easier but have also been more possible for many more people. As a results, cell phones subscriptions continue to increase globally. As people continue to depend on a cell phones for their communications needs, these devices not only become more useful also more dangers, especially when used at inappropriate times people who text and drive spend 10% of their time not in there lane. The available states sadly indicate that the number of the people who are doing this can put their lives or the other driver's life. The actions of many countries around the world to ban the use of cellphones while driving may have served to deters drivers from using their phones as they drive, but increased number of causalities clearly demonstrates that there is still a lot more that needs to be done.

One of the main reasons that make texting while driving very dangerous is that using traffic or on busy roads. The amount of time the one talks before reacting to a situation in most cases, determines whether one gets to continue living. Its one thing for someone to make the decision to put their own life on the line, but when one chooses to put another's life in jeopardy that is just ridiculous.     With the world becoming more dependent on technology to drive our daily lives, the rate of accidents caused by distracted driving is increasing. According to an article in USA Today entitled "Yes, Cellphones can be Dangerous. No, a Nationwide Ban Won't work," distracted drivers are twenty-three times more likely to crash than drivers who are focused. Although there are other reasons for the cause of this issue, the largest factor in distracted driving is cell phones. Despite recent efforts to minimize cell phone use in the car, one single solution cannot be agreed upon by the people of the United States. Where a popular solution is to issue a ban on cell phones in the car, the opposing opinion is to increase the strength of laws already in existence. While both sides propose a working solution to this problem, each side has its downfalls.
