DHSS Case Study Essay
Maria has increased her knowledge of DHSS policies,procedures and local protocol for processing orders. No issues surfaced regarding HIPAA or the ability to be professional with the high volume of individuals with diverse backgrounds. Her patience when working through difficult care plans and receiving ANE issues to create reports shows compassion. In working care plans she is creative using knowledge of all services available to create care plans within policy for eligibility and cost.

Maria improved on her Quality of Work. She processes a high number of orders monthly and has tends to exceed 140 orders by 20 on average monthly. She confirms contact information on each call and updates the automated systems. There have been a few issues of errors on the Webtool over this rating period, but for the volume of actions completed it's minimal. She is organized using her pending list to prioritize daily. Her documentation is clear noting any additional collateral contact made noted.

Skills assessments and Security Mentor online activities are done timely. An area for improvement is the DHSS Administrative required as none were done in 2016 per her training record. Maria contributed information to a local CQI on agent line phone processing. She takes time to educate all callers as needed on DSDS responsibilities related to case management and ANE.

Maria is dependable in her commitment to do quality work in a timely manner. Maria is timely with DELTA entry. She uses leave according to policy and arrives for work ahead of schedule ready to work orders according to priority. She attends meetings as scheduled and ask clarifying question as needed. She is a good steward of her time, adhering to break and lunch times appropriately.
