Implementation and Control of the Marketing Plan
The primary means of marketing directly to the target market of existing customers will transpire through means of Television ads, customer email, updates to the company website, radio and billboard advertisements. Though the marketing plan will necessitate extensive advertisements initially, once adequate information is released, this requirement will dissipate. The Control measurement to when the company establishes adequate advertisement will occur when the company reaches target sales. Furthermore, Cox Communications will closely monitor sales of the new service to determine whether the goal of reaching target sales requires additional stimulation and service publication. Qualitative data is information in the form of words as generated from the broad answers to questions in interviews, responses to open-ended questions in a questionnaire, through observation, or previously available information gathered from various sources, such as the Internet. Conversely, quantitative data is the information in the form of numbers, as generally gathered through structured questions. (Sekaran, Bougie, 2016, p. 332) This marketing plan consists primarily of qualitative data derived from articles chosen based on relevance to the marketing of cell service for Cox Communications, as well as interviewee opinions related to the interviewee’s experience with Cox …show more content…
Based on evidence drawn from online sources, textbooks, and interview about Cox Communications providing cell phone service, the report confirms the belief Cox Communications will benefit financially by providing cell phone service.
Content Analysis
“Content analysis is an observational research method that is used to systematically evaluate the symbolic contents of all forms of recorded communications (Kolbe & Burnett, 1991).” (Sekaran, Bougie, 2016, p. 350) This marketing plan includes a content analysis of individual interview, articles, and internet websites.
Qualitative Analysis
The interview stated positive views on the subject Cox Communications will benefit financially by providing cell phone service. Likewise, interview findings on the disadvantages Cox Communications providing cell phone service indicated as sense of wariness towards the new cell phone service. The final section covers the financial analysis.
Limitations
My research remains limited to time, resources, and location to acquire a more accurate data base for this Marketing plan.
