Dear Ms. Ellie Nishi:

As I was passing by your building I couldn’t help but notice you had a job opening for the position of First Violin. I believe I would be perfect for the position for I have a great deal of experience. I began taking violin lessons at the age of four, at the age of 14, I appeared as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, I received an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance from Indiana University and I have performed with almost all of the world's major orchestras and conductors. I feel as though for all the time I’ve played and the experience under my belt I believe I would be perfect to fill the spot of First Violin.

My resume is enclosed. I am available at any time of any day. It is possible for me to report for a personal interview any day after 12:00 p.m.

I appreciate your time and consideration. You may reach at (323) 549-5900 or by e-mail at
