Essay on “I Love My Family”
By R Jain

Family: A simple small but important word for each human being. It is said that human species is alive in this world because they are living in a family or community or a group. This is what distinguishes a man from an animal. However there are few animals that enjoy living in a group.

But human is the only one who can think along with living. A simple meaning of family is feelings. If you are living with group in one house then it can not be called as family. It can be called as a community or a simple group. But if you are living in a group in which you share your happiness, sorrow and plenty of other things without any hitch then it can be called as family.

There are several meanings for a family. You might have listened to people saying “my family is incomplete without you” or like that. This means family is a place where only addition takes place. If you are a married man and your wife has given birth to child then you can say that your family is complete by this child. It doesn’t mean that your family was incomplete without that child.

You and your wife were living happily but you have become happier by the entry of new guest. Thus family is a place where only addition of people takes place and people experience the joy of living together. This addition adds sorrows as well because if you have let other person to enter your family then it becomes your responsibility to share his/her sorrows also.

My family consists of five people, two parents, one brother, one sister and me. This is what I call a complete family. I have my parents to fulfill all my requirements. They help me at every difficult stage of life. They inspire me whenever I fail in any attempt. They provide me the strength to walk through the tough paths if life. Besides this I have one brother who fights with me everyday. I have brother to ask help for something. He helps me in exams and tells me few secrets to win on every opportunity. Besides

Although this statement is true, some would disagree and say that the meaning to the word “family” goes far beyond that simple definition. Many people consider friends, schoolmates, animals, friends of a parent, and co-workers to be their family as well. Your whole family can be made up of many people that are not necessarily your real family. The relationship you share with another individual classifies them as a family member. These people may not be your relative at all, but someone you feel a strong connection to for one reason or another.…
