History Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian motorized vehicle-producing company. It is the flagship company of the Bajaj Group, founded by Jamnalal Bajaj at Rajasthan in the 1930s. It is based in Pune, Maharashtra, with plants in Chakan (Pune), Waluj (near Aurangabad) and Pantnagar in Uttaranchal. Baja Auto motorcycles in production are the XCD, Platina, Discover, Pulsar and Avenger. Bajaj Auto is the world's third-largest manufacturer of motorcycles and second-largest in India.
