The Influence of Leaderships Behavior on the Success of the Project and On the Worker’s Turnover.

I. Introduction

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the transformational and

transactional leadership on the success of the construction projects in Cubao.

Construction projects are gaining more attention and interest now a day since it is

the strategic tool to implementing the organizational strategic goals and

objectives. Construction projects are facing tremendous challenges that impeded

the construction firms from meeting the individual’s project cost, schedule, and

project specifications and requirements, therefore not achieving the projectsuccess.

II. Definition of the perceive problem:

Since the construction industry is a very stressful business and full of risks, the

employee turnover is rapidly increasing as the project is getting more complex,

adding another challenge and cost to the project and therefore its success.

III. General Statement
There are many challenges facing organization in the project realm. The dramatic

change in the business models now a day’s beside the volatile nature of the

business environment, the complexities of the present project, in addition to the

severe competition of trying to win the project by bidding very aggressive cost

and schedule commitments, have led many organizations not to meet the demands

of the project and not to achieve the organization goals.

Business Ethics and Morale Attitude.

I. Introduction

Not only criminals but also citizens who are not habitually in conflict with the law

exhibit dishonesty, or engaged in actions harmful to their fellow citizens (Gabor

1994). Most members of the society are aware of the rules that govern the

truthfulness of our actions, namely morale and ethics, however studies indicate that

many engage in dishonest behavior frequently and show for example that

everybody lies on a daily bass (De Paulo BM 1996).

Ethics and morale are fundamental importance in business and economics and

unethical behavior stands for great financial damage.

Acceptance of fraud and deception is apparently wide spread as demonstrated by
the fact that 10% of Americans stated in a recent survey, that it was acceptable to

hand. In fraudulent insurance claims, for example when reporting goods as

damaged and stolen when they were not.

II. Definition of the problem:

The terms morale and ethics include a variety of different actions. Commonly

lying, cheating and stealing are defined as unethical behavior. (Trerino Linda,

Weaver Gary et al. 2006).

III. General Statement

Honestly and deception are concepts of ethics and morale that bare being

investigated not only by morale philosophers, psychologist, psychiatrists and

sociologist but in a more applied arena in recent times by researchers from such fields as business studies (Ayres and Ghosh 1999; Chan, Fung et al 2010).

Leadership Style and Employee Commitment

I. Introduction

Leadership is one of the world’s oldest and most topical issues. Fisher (1999)

identified a paradox regarding leadership in the sense that most professionals

cannot lead and they do not want to follow. Great leaders are even more in demand

in modern times as society and technology becomes increasingly advanced. The

turbulent business environment has created a need for leaders who can meet the

demands and challenges of organizations.

II. Definition
Some authors define leadership as a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal. Gardner (1990) defines leadership as the process of influencing the activities of an individual or a group in efforts toward goal achievement in a given situation.

III. General Statement
