When it comes to comparing both cultural religions Islam and Christianity they both contrast in many things. Religion is one topic and the culture is another one. They both have majorly different viewpoints of theology and ideology. Although, Christianity and Islam are both religion they different in theology and ideology. Christianity theology comes from two Greek words meaning “God” and “word” combined. Theology means the “study of God”, and study of what the bible teaches and what Christians believe. Christian theology regards the nature truth, God, Jesus, salvation, damnation, the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, the Gospel, resurrection, and more. God is viewed as sovereign over humans and history, which led to discussion of the relationship between God’s sovereignty and human’s responsibility that parallels among Christians. In addition, Islam is not even a religion; it is a political system that uses a deity to advance it is agenda of global conquest. Islam is a political ideology where hides behind the notion of it being a religion. Islam has its own legal, moral, social, military, and financial as well as religions codes. Islam is a complete mode of life and Islamic ideology is established on the basis of golden principles of Islam. It helps in gaining peace and comfort in life. Christianity existed several centuries prior to the birth of Islam, and by the time Muhammad founded Islam in the Middle East, Christianity had moved its center to Europe, where it had firmly established itself as the official religion. But Christianity originally sprouted in the Middle East after Christ's resurrection in A.D. 30. During this early period, Christianity did not expand far beyond Jerusalem. Muhammad claimed that he received revelations from God that called him to preach a new religion called Islam.
