Change the World
If I could change the world, how would I change it? Of course, I must first decide what I want to change and what into. Afterwards, I must think of a way on how to achieve that change. As a young individual, I think that the best way to change the world is rather than doing anything too big, I just have to make it a priority to go out of my way in small amounts to bring that world about. Everybody changes the world in some way, whether they set out to do it or not. It’s like making a carbon footprint. What we do in our everyday lives has an impact on the world. Sometimes it's for the better. Other times it's for the worse. Just coming up with workable and positive goals and decisions in life will make a favorable impact on the world. The first thing I want to have in the world is a clean environment. I know that this would not happen in an instant so if given the ability, I would make each person do things like reducing the amount of trash they generate, the amount of water they use to bathe or shower, decrease energy and electricity consumption, and cleaning up the immediate environment around their homes. These things, though simple will truly make a difference. I believe in the saying, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves. The problems facing the world today are great, and it will surely take the greatness of millions if not billions of people working together overcome them. Changing the world does not happen overnight, but it won't happen by not making an effort either. Our role is just as important as any other person. While we might think the little things we can do are insignificant and have no effect, with enough people these small things add up and make an even bigger change. It all starts with us, and our willingness to help create the world that we dream of. We don’t have to be someone famous or have a political position in order to make a change; we just have

Secondly, I could find sporting facilities that are closer to my house and I could walk there, again this would fuel while also improving my fitness. Lastly I could have my own veggie patch which would allow me to have my own vegetables instead of having to have my fruit and vegetables travel a long distance to my house the outcomes of this would be fuel is saved and there is less…

There is a reason why I’m talking about this (super exciting and totally fascinating and not boring at all) subject. The reason is politics. Specifically the 2016 election cycle and the massive mess that was the presidential election. If someone did you a favor, something big, something that you could not do on your own, and instead of paying it back, you paid it forward to three people. Imagine the next day, they each paid it forward to three more people. And imagine the day after, those 27 people each paid it forward to another three people. Then each day afterwards, everyone in turn paid it forward to three more people; in two weeks that comes to 4,782,969 people.…

Living in today’s society and world could be like riding a roller coaster. Some people are happy and enjoy their lives, while others struggle every day and feel depressed. Most people are afraid of changes in their lives, even if it would be to help better themselves or others. Sometimes I feel that things will never change in our world for the good, but only get worse. I strongly believe that the upcoming generations play a crucial role in changing our world; even though it is us individuals as grownups that influences these young generations to become and act the way that they do. If it was possible I would change and put an end to a lot of things going on in this world and especially my community. If I had the power to change three things in the world or in my community they would be to recognize God more in our lives, stop the use of illegal drugs, and end poverty.…

Mahatma Gandhi wrote, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Many people complain that the world needs to be changed in some way. However, no one is willing to actually put time and effort into being the change. Many people now are starting to realize that sitting around complaining about everything isn’t going to work and teenagers today are starting to make a difference. I think that I have a great way to get rid of one of a huge problem in society today.…

    How to Change the World

Whitman’s “To a Pupil” advises students to become individuals, to reform, so that others may in turn follow them. Throughout this poem, Whitman demonstrates that “reform” is needed in his harsh world and any “dear” student can fix the lack of it. To accomplish this, a student must have “self esteem” and “definiteness”. Through Whitman’s distinct style of using apostrophe and imperative verbs, the reader feels as if Whitman was addressing his poem to the reader and suggesting that “Personality” and individualism are of utmost importance to “reform” the world. A student needs “to have eyes, blood, complexion” (Whitman), three defining characteristics of an individual, to accomplish anything. He strengthens his argument through the use of the word “you” by always relating his argument to the reader. Next, powering, active phrases such as “go, dear friend… commence to-day” (Whitman) inspire his readers to get out of their seats and stimulate reform that very day. Whitman’s encouraging and powerful style, using apostrophe and second person verbs, strengthens his argument that it is necessary to be an individual to bring about reform.…

To start with, Ordinary people can change the world with extraordinary ways, and for most of those people change the world with their words, not their fists. To illustrate my point, we fight wars to keep peace, but do we ever wonder what would it be like if instead of fighting those wars, we can sit down and explain why we are mad at a certain country. On the other hand, people use their words to show us our mistakes that we do in life and that the society thinks it is correct to do. For example, Prince EA is a leader that sees the world in a different way that most of people don’t want to see it. To support my opinion, Prince EA once said, “Call me crazy, but I imagine a world where we smile when we have low batteries, because that will mean…
