Cat Peeing Research Paper
Don't you just love getting into bed at night and laying down on a cold wet spot? Then, when you examine it more closely, you discover that it is cat pee! Now you have to change your bedding, and unless you don't mind the smell being around all night, you are going to have to do a load of laundry.

Having your cat peeing on the bed is not a fun thing, and a habit that must be broken immediately, or it may be one that lasts as long as you own your cat.

If you find your cat peeing on bed sheets a lot, you need to get to the bottom of just why this is going on.

First check out the litter box, and make sure that it is clean enough. This is something that most cats are pretty fussy about. After all, you like your toilet to be clean, and so does your cat. Okay, so you don't pee on the bed if the toilet isn't clean.

But, if you start cleaning the box more often, and she is still peeing on the bed, then you may have a more serious problem on your hands.

The second thing is to get her checked out by a vet to make sure that she is healthy. Then, if there are no health problems, it is time to start ruling out other things that may be upsetting her.

Lastly, sometimes bringing a new kitten into the home will make your adult cat start to misbehave, and even pee on the bed. It will take a period of adjustment before your cat gets used to the new addition to the family, and until she is used to it, she may do bad things to get attention.

This happened to us just a couple of months ago when we took in an abandoned kitten. Our older male started peeing on bed sheets, and my clothes, until he figured out that he had a new "toy" to play with.

If you are having a problem with your cat peeing on bed sheets and you can't find a way to stop it, check out the helpful information at StopCatPeeing.com, where you will learn how to take care of the problem so you don't have to get rid of

Unusual urination is also a symptom of anxiety that not too many people know about. The average person would not recognize this as an actual symptom, but it is. In Josephine’s case, her husband found her sitting on the floor in the corner of their bedroom covered in urine. This may have been going on for weeks and she was able to hide it until the husband found her in that state. “There are two types of anxiety urination. There is instant urination that generally occurs during moments of complete terror, and there is frequent urination, which is the sensation of needing to urinate often without necessarily drinking excess water/liquid”. Out of these two types of anxiety urination, Josephine has instant urination because she was caught in the moment of fear in her room covered in urine.…

These cats then begin to urinate and defecate in places such as on carpeting or furniture, where the surface does not cause them pain when they step on it. Like biting, this behavior, once learned, is nearly impossible to reverse. Uses of different litter materials such as soft wood chips or newspaper rarely accomplish their purpose, as the cat will have learned to associate the litter pan with pain and will no longer approach it. Again, cats who refuse to use a litter pan are usually taken to a shelter, and again, are often euthanized.…

    Why Cats Are Bad Pets

Cats are a bit messy. They like to sleep everywhere, and leave their hair of the couch cushions, curtains, comforter, and your clothes. They walk on your ledges, and if you have picture frames, candles, or any type of décor, they will knock it over. It’s just a given, you’ll come home to your things on the floor. It seems like every time you’re walking, or in the kitchen, they are right there by your feet, weaving too and fro as you are trying to get from one place to the other. It’s almost like they are trying to kill you. They have no respect for your personal space. If you’re sitting on one end of the couch, taking up only one cushion, they will feel obliged to jump up on your lap and stay there till you have to move. If you do move, and come back, good luck getting back on their good side, because they want nothing to do with you. They have a lot of diva in them. One minute they want every little bit of your attention, and the next they want nothing to do with you and will hiss if…
