With the introduction of worldwide markets, small corporations have had to make great sacrifices in order to excel, social responsibility being one of the first cuts. Response to the rights of consumers, social responsibility not only enhances the lives of the communities that companies depend on, but also improves the value of businesses, the way their stakeholders are treated and it helps to boost reputation.

This group could organize fundraisers such as walks and discount days and schedule drop off times for day old food. These programs help less fortunate community members improve their health and they reduce chances of employees stealing food. The teams could also create comment boxes in the stores to allow customers to participate in changes and improvements to the business. Company Q should offer a wider variety of health-conscious products for health seeking and extreme allergy sufferers. By doing so, it will increase its revenue while still being socially motivated. Buying from local farmers will provide fresh produce that most supermarkets don’t offer and helps improve the economy in the community. These products are usually much better for customers and can be sold at reasonable prices. On top of offering local food the stores should also be open to new products such as gluten-free, dairy-free, organic and vegan. While many healthy products lines are unreasonably priced, there are still financially conscious health food companies that are still working towards a healthier tomorrow. Though more expensive, offering more selection will increase customer’s satisfaction and the business expand its customer
