I. OBJECTIVES

A. GENERAL OBJECTIVE

After providing and giving the intended care to the client and developing a careful study of the client’s condition, the student will be able to gain knowledge, develop skills and improve attitude through the use of this study and nursing care plan for the patient with NEUROGENIC BLADDER.

B. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To define what NEUROGENIC BLADDER is.
2. To discuss the overview of the disease, identify its clinical manifestation, causes, risk factors, diagnostic evaluation, management and prevention.
3. Enumerate the clinical manifestations shown by the client
4. Delineate the pathophysiology of the disease condition. 5. Establish a therapeutic Nurse-Patient relationship. 6. Determine the client’s status through: a. General data b. Physical examination c. History of present illness d. Past medical history e. Family history f. Laboratory diagnosis 7. Analyze the laboratory results and correlate it with patient’s conditions
