1.5 Constructing Your Health Decisions
1. For your assignment you will organize information to include influences on your health, a family member’s health or the health of another person.
Be sure to include: at least two examples of different influences by media, technology, or public policy on you, your family, or community the effect of these influences on everyone’s health the responsibility a person has for enhancing one’s health.
2. Use the organizer below to help you brainstorm your ideas.
3. Once you have organized your ideas, you will create and submit an essay, PowerPoint, video, or collage as your final project.
PROJECT ORGANIZER

A. Example one of Media, Technology, or Public Policy (pick one) influencing health is Public Policy, Laws influencing anti-drug and smoking campaigns ect.
B. What type of effect has it had on health? People no longer are over-weight or have poor lung health

A. Example two of Media, Technology, or Public Policy (pick one) influencing health is Technology Providing MRI’s and next generation treatments.
B. What type of effect has it had on health? People are living much longer than previously and feeling a lot better and sound about their well being.

What is the responsibility a person has for enhancing one’s health?
A person holds the key to their own life, it is their choice to be health and make sure they it is long and plentiful.

I believe that my health has been protected in many ways both by my government and technology. Anti-drug administrations and laws keep in check the drugs in my area and steer me far away from that. Also technology has helped me in circumstances light a bushed knee with MRI’s and cast. Without this you could be seriously injured and simply not be capable of fixing the issue. These things have largely influenced everyone’s health and have drastically increased the age
