1. What have you done to grow your personal and professional network?
First, I took IS class which teaches information, network, online business. I felt it is very useful because we studied many cases to help us how to grow our network and why do we need to expand the network connection. By taking this course, I understood more about the network. What I am doing now is to use google+, twitter, skype , Linkin and facebook. I feel those are very important network that we need to have an account and be active in it. By adding people through the sources, we can grow our personal and professional network.
2. Give me an example of using your personal network of friends and acquaintances to help you accomplish a task.
Long time ago, I added someone I just met the first time on facebook. We just commented each others’ updated status, and nothing more. Recently I came up with an online business. To be able to best start my business, I needed someone knows how to design a business website. I asked so many people, but they did not know who can do it. One day, I was on facebook and I saw the person online. So I started to talk to him, and he told me that he actually is a website designer. I was so happy that he offered to help me to design my business website for really cheap friend price. So this is my experience I had that a friend from network helped me accomplish my website.
3. Tell me about a time when it was important to understand the requirements of your professor for a particular assignment. What did you do to better understand those requirements?
Last week, my marketing class had an assignment which was confusing for me. I read the case over and over again. But I still could not get it. Therefore, I went online to ask my classmates. They explained it for me and helped me find the examples online. I thought it was really help. I finished my assignment on time.
