Harvest of Strategy
The company that I will be starting is a car rental service, which I plan to call "Road Runner Car Rental". This is being formed as a private company completely owned by me and which will offer services to the Bahrain & Saudi customers. RR car rental will offer well-maintained cars for individuals, families and business delegates for rental and chauffer driven services.
I plan to start the company with a good initial investment, leaving no stone unturned for marketing, advertisement and the overall look of the company. Although there are many car rental companies in Bahrain, I feel my company will stand out due to its unique services and customer satisfaction. As part of company expansion, there are future plans of opening driving training institute and a branch office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
I, Ms. Mae will be the sole investor and owner of the company. All the responsibilities for the services, assets and company decisions will be undertaken by me. The company will be located in the Exhibition area, Bahrain near to Hard Rock café.
With an investment of BD 1,000,000, approximately 30% of this amount will be a loan from the local bank - National Bank of Bahrain, which will be payable over 5 years and the 70%, will be financed by Ms. Mae personally. Although the investment raised by the owner is sufficient, the additional loam will be taken for unseen problems and also for future developments and expansion plans.
1.0) Executive Summary
The Road Runner car rental service will provide car rental for general public, tourists, delegates and students. Aggressive marketing strategy will be used to create awareness about the company and the car specifications, which include: Clean, safe, and latest models readily available. RR car rental, which is owned by Ms. Mae, is a local Bahraini, with a considerable experience in this field. The company will be a one person show, i.e. all the financial decisions and executive decisions will be handled by Ms. Mae. The company will have initial employee strength of 20 and in accordance with the Bahrain policy of Bahrainization.
As per our marketing strategy, we have been able to identify our key market segments & needs. The car rental service will be focused on the tourism sectors and will work closely with some of the well known hotels in Bahrain. In order to maintain the standards of the company as a premium car rental company, all the cars utilized will be of the latest models and in top condition. Due to Bahrain's growing tourism and our market study, has given us the insight to market our services more towards the tourists and the executive delegates who come on business trips or leisure trips. Most of the company sales and profit will come from this segment.
Based on the company performance in the first three years, the company will be expanded to other territories, such as initially setting up an office in Saudi Arabia. The company...
