1.1 Q- Explain why effective communication is important in developing positive relationships with children, young people and adults.

1.1 A- It is important because having effective communication has a positive outcome in many different ways. Such as trust, because once you build trust with a child or young person many other things will fall into place naturally. Building trust through positive communication allows students to feel they are able to discuss different concerns they may have, which they feel can only be discussed with those they trust to either help them or show understanding and support.
Working with children requires us to build relationships with them quickly but also in ways that are professional. The quality of relationships that we have with children and young people has a huge effect on the way in which we can work with them. When children feel comfortable with us they can separate more easily from their parents and they are much more likely to take part in play and learning activities.
When children feel safe and secure in their surroundings they are less likely to show unwanted behaviour as we are able to recognise and meet their individual needs much more efficiently.
In order for a child to feel safe and secure, there needs to be effective, positive communication in place at all times.

1.2 A- There are many principles of relationship building with children, young people and adults a few of these are:
Showing respect- It is important to respectful of others and to always listen to their individual pints of view even if we may not always agree with them. Staff and children that we work with may also be from different cultures and backgrounds and it is important that we respect their opines and beliefs and try our hardest not to alienate others.
Being considerate- Always consider the positions of others, you may be working with a
