As management decisions have crucial importance, the information appears as a key instrument of governance. Information produced by the accounting information systems are important for the effective management of business activities, and according to the type of users, its information requests and needs vary.

The company can achieve its stated objectives and a positive financial result only if the business transactions that take place within certain business processes are controlled. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to implement appropriate information system. Need to provide information resulted in the creation of information systems which simplify the operation of business systems.

In this paper, particular attention is given to the accounting information systems and their importance for the business and financial decision making of individual users.

The companies enter into a business interaction with a number of other enterprises which leads to a rise in the number of business and non-business transactions. These transactions receive character of accounting information when recorded in the books. Products of accounting information systems are data

    A good accounting information system (AIS) will help create, maintain, and distribute the financial reports as well as perform tasks in payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and budgeting (Bagranoff, Simkin, & Norman, 2010).
