Have you ever been called "Ugly"?
Have you ever been called "Fat"?
Has someone made you feel totally insecure about your appearance?
Everyone in this room has probably been bullied at least once in their life.
It’s not the best feeling is it? It makes one feel insecure, humiliated and very uncomfortable.
An alarming fact is that 40% of suicide victims had been bullied at school.
Bullying behavior is no longer confined to the school room or playground but throughout adulthood as well. ‘Bullying behavior can be communicated in text messages, social networking sites, and forums and so on.
On September 18, 2011 Jamey Rodemeyer committed suicide due to cyber bulling. But bullying cannot just be led to suicide; on April 20, 1999 two senior students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 students and injured 21 students in a school shooting known as the Columbine High School Massacre due to bullying throughout their 4 years in high school. The pair of them committed suicide afterwards

There are many types of bullying, you may think calling some a nasty name is what bullying is all about but there is more to bullying.
Physical Bullying is being hit, kicked, punched or tripped.
Verbal Bullying is being called names, teased, and insults.
Social bullying is being ignored, having rumors spread about you or telling lies about you.
Cyber bullying is, insulting someone in chat rooms, sending cruel or threatening emails, text messages, or spreading rumors using cellphones.
Bullying is a serious problem in our society today. Victims are not the problem, the bullies are. So why do bullies bully? There are a lot of reasons why some people bully. They may see it as a way of being popular, or making themselves look tough and in charge. Some people bully to get attention, or to make other people afraid of them. Others might be jealous of the person they are bullying. They may be being bullied themselves. Some bullies don't understand how damaging their
