Being An Adult Research Paper
Being an adult means you get a job, getting a paycheck, and being independent. Getting a job was a sanctuary away from my family and friends. I also get a paycheck every week that’s going to buy me a car, so I can be more independent and drive myself to work. I feel that this will make a great transition from childhood to adulthood and that is to get a job, spend your paycheck wisely, and be independent.
Working is one thing I’ve always wanted to do. Getting this job has made it so much easier to take a break from family drama. I feel like I’m on my own and can handle anything. This is my way of getting to do things my way and not having my older siblings telling me what to do. It’s so much easier to get the work done when there is no one yelling

It’s also helped me learn to buy the things I need first and then with whats left, I can buy whatever I want. It also has taught me responsability with money but also in everyday life. I now know how to manage money better then before, where I would blow all my money on stupid things and have no money left for the things I need. It has taught me how to be responsable and independent in my own life.
Independence has been a dream of mine for a couple years now. Relying on other people to buy me things for me and do things for me is not a good feeling. Being independent makes me feel more like an equal to the people around me. I would rather pay for everything, than it be handed to me. Independence comes with a lot of responsabilities that I now have because of getting a job. This has helped me to stop being a child and start being an adult.
Childhood memories is not something you forget, but everyone has to grow up eventually. Getting away from family is a more childish view on a job, but there are some days that you need a break. Getting the paycheck and being responsible with that is harder than it looks, and sometimes I do buy things I don’t need, but it pays off in the end. Independence is what really sets an adult apart from a child. I chose to be an adult when I got the job at McDonald’s and no matter what anyone says, being an adult is much more

My uncle offered me a job at a factory called Carriage House Incorporated. He also added in the fact that the pay wage was high. I was eager to start my adult life and work full-time, so I took the offer. The work was hard labor, not really worth the money after all. People have judged and misunderstood others for as long as humans were on this Earth. People have a nasty habit to think of people who have been lonely and bullied as outsiders, although outsiders are just people who are completely misunderstood and judged the wrong way. If people took the time to know these “outsiders” people mistreat, they would understand that these people are just normal kids that got mistreated badly. Nobody wants to be an “outsider”, but sometimes you become one for various of different reasons like being a new kid, being smarter than most kids, wanting to be alone, and more.…

I think that the most important thing about working is finding what you truly love to do and then pursing your interests. My father always said that if you love the job that you do, you would never have to go to work. This meaning that if you love your work it will not feel as though you are working. Sometimes finding romance in the workplace can help you pursue your right career. I believe that your career path is so crucial to how the rest of your life turns out whether it is amazing or full of boredom. Although finding your passion is not easy to some people it was interesting to me to see how people found out what they wanted to do in their lives as well as finding out what to focus on. There were not any specific issues that caused me to rethink my original thoughts because I have always thought that in some way it is not too complicated to find your true passion because even when you are younger you know what you want to be in life. For example, when I was younger I wanted to be an actress and a singer and even though I may not be either of those things right now I know that it is still something I have wanted to do all of my life. Pursing your passions is important in life because when you are happy in what you do you will give the most amazing work you can give at your full potential.…

There have always been challenges that a young adolescent must make to become an adult. Whether it was one hundred years ago, or today in this day and age, the challenges are ever so present. Unfortunately, the challenges faced back then were far more harsh and difficult for the young adults compared to the present. They lacked the technology, resources, and knowledge we now possess today. Most jobs one hundred years ago had to be physically done by people, not machines, which the 21st century seems to love. Although times are now different in the sense of materials and knowledge, the society and traditional structure of becoming an “adult” still stands; you get a job, you get married – you are an adult. There are plenty more things that need to be done and prepared for before even entering the work world, let alone becoming an adult.…
